The Brief
This family had a split level basement that wasn’t working for them. We saw the potential to turn it into a multi-functional laundry room, gym and storage area. After drenching the space in white paint (floors and ceilings included) the once dark and cramped space transformed into a place they would actually feel happy spending time in.
Basement & Gym Organization:
Repainted the entire space white
Decluttered and organized items into weathertight bins
Customized storage solutions & product sourcing
Made space for the Peloton and a workout area
Laundry Room Organization:
Added a butcher block countertop on top of the machines
Added a pull down ironing board & floating shelves for detergents
Sourced a washable rug to soften the look of the concrete floors
