The Brief
After our clients lost their home in the Palisades Fire, they were left without all the holiday memories and decorations they had accumulated over many years. When it came time to start over, they felt overwhelmed by the scope of the task and asked if we would help curate new Christmas heirlooms that they could enjoy for years to come. We purchased new decorations that we installed and styled in the space, and set the table for guests. After the holidays, we came back and took the decor down and organized it in labeled bins in the garage.
Holiday Sourcing & Decorating:
Sourced all new holiday decor + outdoor lighting
Sourced table decor, linens, and set the table
Oversaw install of outdoor lights and decor
Decorated the home’s interior, leaving all tree decoration supplies organized and ready for the family to use themselves
Decor Takedown & Packup:
Removed all holiday decor, inside and out
Sourced appropriate storage containers for wreaths, ornaments, garland, etc.
Packed decor away in labeled bins
Restyled the home to look fresh and polished after the holidays
Crafting New Holiday Traditions
Our client wanted her home to feel festive and cozy for her three young daughters. We sourced floral stockings, and then hired a local chain stitch artisan to embroider everyone’s names. The family’s pups, Snoop and Mozart, even got in on the fun!
Holiday Entertaining Made Easy
Our client was preparing to host family holiday dinners, so we sourced linens from Heather Taylor Home to transform their dining room into a cabin-chic wonderland. Paired with iron taper candle holders and velvet bow napkin rings, the final result was festive and homey.
